You'll find the work environment at AAMI open, friendly, honest and supportive. It's busy, challenging and rewarding. AAMI people work closely together - we canvas a variety of opinions and welcome diverse ideas. We have a long history of involving staff at all levels in developing new initiatives and improving the way we do things. For example AAMI people from all areas are involved in the development and maintenance of our AAMI Customer Charter. While AAMI people have a unique opportunity to be directly involved in the review of our AAMI Enterprise Agreement. The Agreement sets out a range of benefits and options surrounding AAMI people's performance, pay and benefits, leave entitlements, loyalty programs, resolving workplace issues and termination of employment.

At AAMI you'll find a strong focus on promoting and developing our internal talent. We endeavour, where possible to look with in the organisation to fill many supervisory, management and technical roles rather than recruiting externally.

In order to facilitate internal recruitment, AAMI has placed a strong emphasis on training and development. You'll find there are opportunities at each level, from entry roles, continuing into our senior management. These programs are focused on not only technical knowledge, but also interpersonal and leadership skills, in order to develop and aid our people to perform and excel in their role.

Looking after our customers
 

Our business is built around car, home, business and travel insurance. In New South Wales and Queensland, we also sell compulsory third party personal injury insurance. We see our role as providing people with financial protection for their assets, and eliminating stress and providing peace of mind if they need to contact us or claim on their AAMI insurance. We always deal directly and personally with our customers. That way, we are able to fully inform them about our products and services and to look after their needs promptly, courteously and efficiently.
