Australian Home Care
is a not-for-profit organisation providing specialised in-home care
and assistance to people throughout Victoria, New South Wales and
the ACT.
Australian Home Care
works closely with Case Managers, allied health professionals, hospital
staff and family members to provide support services to clients.
The growth in the demand
for our services means that we regularly require new Carers to work
in their local area. Australian Home Care prides itself on providing
staff with industry leading levels of skills.
We recognise that the training a Carer receives is vital to help
them gaining experience and confidence dealing with situations that
occur during their work.
All carers undertake comprehensive induction training and have opportunities
for further development including:
- High-needs training
- Job related training
- Client specific training
- Certificate III Community Services (Aged Care)
- Certificate IV Community Services (Disability)
Australian Home Care, a subsidiary of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Victoria, supports people to live as independently as possible in their own home. We provide a range of in-home care services to a wide range of people with different care requirements, affording them the reassurance and comfort of being in their own environment.
Australian Home Care has expertise in caring for people who are elderly, who have a disability, are recovering from an accident or illness, and our war veterans. We can also assist when the primary carers or family are in need of a break.
