Who We Are

In 2002, the Queensland Government endorsed the Shared Service Initiative (SSI) - a program to streamline the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective corporate services on a whole-of-Government basis. This created five Shared Service Providers (SSPs):

• PartnerOne.
• Corporate Solutions Queensland.
• CorporateLink.
• Corporate & Professional Services.
• Queensland Health.

Established in mid 2003 as part of the SSI, CorpTech is hosted by Queensland Treasury. As a technology skill centre, we provide whole-of-Government corporate applications and systems support to SSPs to aid their delivery of corporate services. Our systems expertise and solutions underpin corporate services delivery across Queensland, in finance, human resources, payroll, procurement, document and records management and facilities management.

As SSI implementation heads to completion in 2007, we're working closely with government agencies, SSPs and the Shared Service Implementation Office (SSIO) to, not only provide them with excellent support today, but also to develop and deploy new standardised business solutions for the future.

Service Management

Our Service Management Teams provide critical corporate services ICT applications support and maintenance to SSPs. Our professionals cover:

• Applications Management.
• Service & Performance Enhancement.
• Application Development, Infrastructure & Technology Management.
• Customer Service Solutions.

Through these activities, SSPs and agencies are assured that their current corporate service systems and applications are supported and maintained.

Shared Service Solutions (SSS)

Jointly managed with SSIO, SSS is designing and implementing new whole-of-Government business processes and systems for the future.

Three key sub-programs employ a diverse, multi-disciplinary workforce, who are building tomorrow's solutions in:

• Finance.
• Human Resources.
• Document & Records Management.

In this way, our vision of delivering 'smart systems solutions for corporate services' now and in the future is being realised.
