Forgot registration and password
Trying to login as a SEEK Advertiser but keep getting errors?
Here's a list of common problems and their remedies:
- Help! I've forgotten my password!
Don't worry. If you're on the SEEK homepage, click Forgot Your Login Details? If you're trying to login with the Advertiser Login on the Welcome to the SEEK Advertiser Centre page, click Forgot Pasword?.
Type–in the email address that job-applications are sent to (not your "registered" email address), as instructed on the PASSWORD REMINDER or Advertiser Registration Details Reminder screen, and make a nice cup of tea.
A reminder email should be sent to you within five minutes (about long enough to make and drink that cuppa).
Note: advertisers whose application email address is used by several usernames (for example, a branch at a recruitment agency or a group of staff in an HR department) will need to call Customer Service to retrieve their registration details due to privacy concerns.
- Are you registered as an Advertiser on SEEK?
If not, you will need to create a SEEK Advertiser account first.
Click ADVERTISERS, to go to the SEEK Advertiser Centre and click Register Now.

You may have accidentally tried to login as a Jobseeker from the SEEK Home page. If that was the case, this is the error-message that is presented:
Choose the Advertiser option, double-check your Username and Password again and click Login!.
Or, if you prefer to login through the SEEK Advertiser Centre, then use the Advertiser Login section.

If you've mistyped your Username or Password in the SEEK Advertiser Centre you'll be given this error-message:
Type in your Username and Password again and click Go!. Remember details of your login name and password are case-sensitive.
- Please check that your Internet browser is configured to accept Cookies and use scripting (also known as JavasScripting).
