Security settings and virus protection

Personal security settings may block SEEK job ads from being displayed and restrict your access to subsequent pages of information.

Firewalls and security software such as Norton Internet Security commonly cause this problem. Software settings may have a similar effect.

Windows users can click on the virus software icon in the system-tray (located near the clock on your desktop) to adjust these settings and enable you to access all of SEEK's services.

Norton Internet Security has two settings in particular that cause a problem:

  • ad blocker
  • banner blocker

You will also need to 'enable scripting' when updating your preferences.

For other web browsers, consult these items in the SEEK FAQ:
