Cookie settings

Cookies are pieces of information that web sites store on your computer with the aid of your web browser. They are used to remember login information and other data, such as your preferences when you are using the SEEK website. Cookies allow SEEK to direct information to the page you are viewing that is relevant to your selections.

Unless your web browser has cookies enabled, you may be unable to make full use of the SEEK website. Important facilities, such as the ability to login may not function properly.

The following instructions will help you enable cookies in Microsoft Internet Explorer, version 6.0.

  1. Go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options
  2. Select the Privacy tab to adjust Cookie settings.
  3. Click Advanced…
  4. Check the Override automatic cookie handling option.
  5. Click OK to continue.

For Mozilla Firefox version 1.0 onwards, the procedure is:

  1. Go to the Tools menu and select Options…
  2. In the Privacy area, expand the Cookies section.
  3. Tick Allow sites to use cookies and select until they expire. If you wish to disallow sites from setting cookies, you should add seek.com.au to the list of Exceptions.
  4. Click OK to continue.
