You have the following options for posting your job ad:
How long does a job last on the site?Each job ad lasts for 30 days on SEEK. You may wish to extend your job ad or expire your job ad once you have received sufficient applications. How can I improve the position of my ad in jobseeker search results?Depending on the way a jobseeker conducts a job search, the search results will be listed by Date or by Relevance. 'By Date' means that the most recent jobs matching the search criteria appear at the top of the list. 'By Relevance' means that jobs matching the keywords as well as the search criteria appear at the top. If your job ad is detailed with the role's duties, responsibilities, location and remuneration then it is likely it will include the types of keywords jobseekers use to search. How do I get a Featured Job?For more information about Featured Job or Premium Listings, visit the Premium Listings page in the Product Catalogue. Can I use an existing job ad as a template for another job ad?Yes you can. Once you have created a job ad, you may copy the ad from either the Create a Job Ad success page or from your list of current job ads. This way, you may use an existing ad as a template when creating a new job ad.
Please Note: Separate charges apply for each job ad listing in SEEK, $180(+ GST) per copied ad or less for Job Ad Packs. Can I post the same job ad in another location?Yes. Copy the job ad and re-set the location setting to ensure that the job ad is posted in another location. Each time you post your job ad in another location, it will be considered as new job ad and you will be charged accordingly. Can I re-post a job ad?Job ads may be refreshed or extended at any time. You may re-post a job ad by selecting the appropriate job ad renew and clicking on the EXTEND button on your Current Ads. Extending a job ad re-posts your job ad to the top of the list and counts as a new job ad listing (charges apply). Re-posting your job ad after it has expired will incur the cost of a standard job ad cost of $180(+ GST). Less for Job Ad Pack customers.
What if I fill a position quickly and want to stop receiving applications?You may stop receiving applications by expiring your job ad on the SEEK site at any time. Simply select the job ad you wish to expire from your Current Job Ads list and click on the EXPIRE button.
How do I expire a job ad before its expiration date?You may expire your job ad on SEEK at anytime. Simply select the job ad you wish to expire from your Current Ads list and click on the EXPIRE button. See diagram above. Can I change the placement of a job ad after it has been posted?You may change the placement of the job ad after it has been posted. Click on the Edit Icon How do I search for candidates?Posting a job ad with SEEK enables you to access SEEK’s massive resume database. You may purchase Resume Search for the same set of location and Classification/Sub-Classification as a live job ad. This option is available when you create and post a job ad or from the Resume Search section accessible from the navigation bar below the SEEK zone tabs. You will need to contact Customer Service to obtain a specific password to gain access to the Resumes Find out more about Resume Search. How can I change my account details?You can manage your account details from the Your Account section in the Advertiser Zone. You may change your password, contact details and company details. What is SEEK Screen?SEEK Screen is an online custom application form designed by you. It enables you to gather information from candidates before you pick up the phone. Filtering and bulk email messaging options are also available. Find out more about SEEK Screen. How do I contact a candidate once I have reviewed their resume?You will receive candidate applications at your email address and their details will also be stored Your Candidates section of the SEEK Advertiser zone. You may contact candidates directly from the resume attachments you would receive with the application emails or you may review their resumes online at SEEK.
You may view candidate resumes in Your Candidates by clicking on the number of candidates who have applied for a specific job ad.
